Marionette Line Softening

Marionette lines are the vertical creases that extend from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin, creating a puppet-like appearance that can make the face look sad or aged. These lines develop due to a combination of volume loss, gravity and repetitive muscle movement. Our treatment uses dermal fillers placed along and beneath these lines to provide structural support, smooth the creases and restore a more lifted, youthful lower face appearance. This is often combined with treatment of the oral commissures (mouth corners) for a comprehensive approach. The result is a more positive, refreshed expression and improved lower face contour that can last 9–12 months.
