Perioral Line Softening

Perioral lines — also called smoker's lines or lipstick lines — are the fine vertical creases that form above and around the upper lip. These lines develop from a combination of repetitive lip movements, sun damage and natural collagen loss, and they can make the area around the mouth appear aged even when the rest of the face looks youthful. Our treatment uses fine filler or skin booster injections placed superficially into and around these lines to smooth the skin surface and restore a more youthful lip surround. The result is a smoother perioral area that improves the overall appearance of the mouth and helps lipstick sit more evenly. Often combined with other lip and lower face treatments.
