Receding Chin / Cobble Stone Chin

A receding or cobblestone chin occurs when the mentalis muscle becomes overactive, creating a dimpled, pebbled texture across the chin — often described as looking like an orange peel. This can also contribute to the appearance of a weak or receding chin profile. Our treatment uses anti-wrinkle injections to relax the mentalis muscle, smoothing out the irregular texture and creating a more defined, even chin surface. In some cases, this may be combined with dermal filler to add projection and improve chin-to-jawline proportions.
